He was born Jan. 7, 1940 in Danville to the late Ira and Edna (Musson) Wells. Danny married the love of his life, Marian Margaret Hurst on Aug. 16, 1961 in Covington, Indiana. She survives.
Also surviving are his sons, Danny Wells Jr., Todd Wells and Rick Wells; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Ronnie Wells, Larry (Shirley) Wells, Robert (Kam) Wells and Kenny (Carolyn) Wells; sisters, Betty (Charlie) Lewis, Norma Boes and Sandy Kiser and many nieces, nephews, and friends who loved him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Annette Wells; brother, Floyd Wells and sisters, Josephine Decker and Maryann Earl.
Danny worked at Quaker Oats for 33 years, retiring in 1999.
