My Aunt Jessie was such an inspiration to my brother Joe, my sister Anna and I. She was the fun loving type of woman whom you couldn't not love. Growing up with an italian dad, we couldn't do as much as some kids, for example wear nail polish or make up, or sleep over at friends houses without a big debate. Aunt Jess would have us over on a weekend and paint our nails and put make up on us, (not Joe) haha, but would let us play dress up. She always would make up little neatly cut sandwiches and have everything to eat with them. She would cut up raw veggies and have a dip, have pickles, beets, and other things. We would have her over a lot too when she was healthier and she would play on the piano for Joe. She couldn't play the piano, she would tell Joe she knew the thunderstorm song. She would play gently on the higher keys and say that was the lightening, play a little more, slamming the keys in the middle and say that was the rain, and play the keys harder in the bass area and say that was the thunder and didn't matter how many times she did it he would just laugh and laugh to the point of tears. It was the look on her face that did it, she was so into making him and us laugh she put her whole heart into it. She put her heart into everything she did. She was a wonderful wonderful woman who is terribly missed and will always be remembered. She's the type of woman you couldn't forget, her spirit was too strong it still carries on her memories. She was a beautiful soul and I know she is lavishing Joe with kisses just as in the picture I put on here. That's how she was, he didn't just get a kiss and hug, she kissed his whole face and he knew when she headed towards him what was coming but he adored her so much! We all did, but Joe to our family in it's entirety, was special and "spoiled" God love him! He's with her now and i'm sure they are enjoying Elvis' music first hand and dancing and having a drink together. Love you Aunt Jess, thanks for the wonderful years you made so great for us!

Thanks so much to Krystal Kelley for sponsoring my Aunt Jess!! So appreciated and a lovely thing to do!!
