CLEADIA REBECCA PRITHARD HALL SUMPTER, age 88, of Barbourville, the daughter of the late Thomas and Phemie Prichard was born in Knox County on December 3, 1912 and departed this life at her home on Allison Ave in Barbourville on Sunday, May 13, 2001. Mrs. Sumpter was a charter member of the East Barbourville Baptist Church and a teacher in the Knox County schools for 36 years.On December 24, 1933 she was united in marriage to Marion Hall and to this union three children were born. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Marion Hall, two sisters, Delorin Runyon and Virgie Prichard and two brothers, Jim and Orange Prichard. In March 1961, she was united in marriage to Albert Sumpter who also preceded her in death.
