Mr. Charlie Aiken, age 72 of Rockwood, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at his residence.
Mr. Aiken was former Chief of Police and Safety Director of Rockwood and also worked at PCI for several years. Charlie preached at Mountain View Church of Christ and was a U.S. Marine Vietnam Veteran.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank, Sr. & Carrie Aiken; brothers, Frank Aiken, Robert Aiken & J.C. Aiken.
Survivors include: Wife: Martha (Sis) Aiken of Rockwood, Tennessee; Sons: Todd Aiken of Rockwood, TN; Mark & Rhonda Aiken of Rockwood, Tennessee, Four Grandchildren: Isiah Ledbetter, Savannah Ledbetter, Meadow Aiken & Madison Aiken
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 28, 2015 from 6:00-8:00pm from Evans Mortuary. The funeral service will be held Friday, May 29, 2015 at 12 noon from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Linwood Smith officiating.
Interment and Graveside will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery with full Military Honors by the Roane County Military Memorial Honor Guard and the U.S. Marine Honors. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Mr. Charlie Aiken.
