His parents put him and siblings in orphanage after they divorced in 1923. Lloyd (16 years old) and brother Clarence opened Gould's Chili Parlor in 1926 in Kansas City, Missouri. He worked odd jobs until he started his apprenticeship as a glazier late 1939. Worked at Beech Aircraft in Wichita during the war. Returned to glass work after war, divorced in late 1950. Survived a house fire early fifties, drifted around the Midwest, odd jobs, moved to Texas about 1961, died there penniless and alone in 1975. Photo taken in 1930s.
