Irene Weaver

Irene K. Weaver, 62, of York Springs R. 2, died Monday morning at the Gettysburg Hospital. She had been a patient there for the past three days.
Born in Adams County, she was the daughter of the late George and Katy Musselman Geigley. She was a member of the Mummasburg Mennonite Church, and for the past live years was a cook for the Lutheran Retirement village in Gettysburg.
She is survived by her husband. Elmer H. Weaver of Lebanon; a son, Harold F. Weaver of Lebanon; five daughters, Dorothy I. Sensenig of York Springs; Mildred R. McDonald, Pleasantville. N. J.; Susan E. Sensenig of Ephrata: Wilma J. Ebersole of Denver, Pa.; Mary Jane Good of East Berlin; 19 grandchildren and one great grandchild; a brother, Roy M. Geigley of Phoenix, Ariz.; a sister, Mrs. Forest Ogburn of 790 Red Ridge Road, Gettysburg; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 1 p. m. Thursday at the Mummasburg Mennonite Church with Bishop Elmer Krieder and the Rev. Lee W. Horst officiating. Interment will be in the Mummasburg Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p. m.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Mummasburg Mennonite Church.
