MILES IRVINE MILLER, age 81, passed peacefully to our Father’s care on May 29, 2015 due to complications from a stroke.

He was born June 21, 1933 in Salt Lake City, UT to Elizabeth Mackay and Irvine Bagley Miller. He served in the US Army in Germany and Italy. He later served an LDS mission in Argentina; returning to marry his beautiful wife, Suzanne Worthen in the Salt Lake Temple on April 28, 1961.

He began his career with the US Postal Service followed by Williamson-Dickie and he retired from Levi Strauss & Co. as a top salesman in 1999 after 29 years of service.

Mike served as Bishop of the Bountiful 14th ward and in the High Council for the Bountiful South Stake. The church was his life for many years and he truly loved serving his fellow man. Miles was a superb athlete and an avid BYU fan. He and Suzanne were members at Oakridge Country Club for many years and he played golf with his buddies until the end.

He is survived by his wife, Suzanne W. Miller, daughter Joanne (David) Richardson, son Miles Erik Miller and grandchildren, Tyler, Isaac, Elijah and Addy. Also survived by his brothers and sister; Lorena Miller Bingham, Kenneth (Barbara) Miller, Norm (Helen) Miller and Brent (Marilyn) Miller.

Interment- Bountiful City Cemetery.
