MRS. E. SORENSON DIES THIS AFTERNOON

Mrs. Estella Sorenson, 74, died at her home, 626½ First avenue south, this afternoon after a long illness.

Services will be held Thursday afternoon at 3 o’clock at the Young Funeral home. The Rev. Frank E. Selby of the New Testament Assembly will officiate.

Mrs. Sorenson, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Winfield Scott Culver, was born in Boone and later moved to Lehigh. In 1936, she married Sam Sorenson who preceeded her in death. Two daughters and one son by previous marriages also preceded her in death.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Iva Mae Derry (sic) of Jefferson, and two sons, Cecil Porter (sic) and Herman H. Schoonover of Fort Dodge.

Three brothers, John Wesley and Samuel Wallace Culver of Yates Center, Kas., and Louis Edward Culver of Fort Dodge, and three sisters, Mrs. Cora Mae Cripps of Lehigh, Mrs. Anna Levine Ism (sic) of Winfield and Mrs. Mary Luize Hand (sic) of Rockford, Ill., also survive.
