Minnie Mary Bray Carlson, 101, of Hamden passed away peacefully on Friday, May 22, 2015, at the Benchmark Senior Care and Assisted Living, Hamden. She was the wife of late Francis W. Carlson.

Born in Naugatuck on Jan. 28, 1914, daughter of the late Howard and Louisa Wiedmann Bray. She worked as a sales person for the former North Haven Hardware and was a member of the Saint Andrew's Methodist Church in New Haven.

She was the sister-in-law Abby Bray; aunt of Nancy Benoit, Michael Wynne, John Law, Ronald, Robert and Brian Bray, Sharon Farrelly. She was also survived by several great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Florence Wynne, Helen Law; and brothers, Harold and Lawrence Bray; and a nephew, Robert Law.

Funeral services were conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave., Thursday, May 28. Interment was followed in the North Haven Center Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, 1230 Townsend Ave., New Haven, CT 06513.
