On the morning of May 30, 2015, the amazing spirit of Darlene E. Foreman passed silently and comfortably into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and into eternity with our God and King.

Darlene was born in Sheboygan, WI, 08/15/1938, raised in School Hill, WI, in the same home her mother was raised in and parents and grandparents lived in. She has one younger brother, Vernon Schnell (Karen). Attended one-room Woodland School in School Hill for eight grades where she was the only girl at her grade level. She graduated from Kiel High School in 1956. First marriage 1956, moved to Racine in 1957. Worked for Sheridan Products (air rifle producers) 1960-65, then in the Juvenile Section of the Racine Police Dept. from 1968-1998. Darlene was a member and organist at Providence UCC Church until 1973, then member and organist at Covenant Presbyterian church from 1973 to 2012, when a stroke made it impossible for her to play. She started as an organist at St James UCC Church near School Hill at age 13. Married in 1993 to John W. Foreman, MD. loving husband until her death separated them.

She is survived by three sons: Larry Schultz (preceded in death by wife Jackie) (Nancy); Randy Schultz (Kim); Steven Leger (Susan); three step daughters: Catherine Foreman (special friend Ted); Sarah Rivera (Michael); Elizabeth Wenger (Todd); Grandchildren: Louis Ryan Schultz; Abigail Schultz; Zachary Leger; Joseph Leger; step grandchildren: Will Rivera; John Rivera; Lily Wenger; Evan Wenger; Mike Deschler; Teresa (Greg) Galloway; Michelle (Harold) Dant ; Andrea Deschler; Lesly (Andrew) Buchmann; step-great-grandchildren Kathryn Galloway, Brandon Dant, Noa Buchmann, Mateo Buchmann. Darlene’s great joys came from caring for grandchildren, playing piano and organ, riding roller coasters, travelling, especially to Walt Disney World, and being a devoted follower of Drum Corps International contests and performances.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 3, 2015, 11:00 A.M. at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 40 Ohio St. with Rev. Melanie Hammond- Clark officiating. Relatives and friends are welcome to meet with the family for Visitation on Tuesday, June 2, from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and also on Wednesday at 10:00 until time of service at the church. Interment will be held at St. James Cemetery, Spring Valley, WI. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Covenant Presbyterian Church, Racine, WI or Camp Anokijig, Plymouth, WI.
