Services Werner John Ernest Mickan, 74, of Kerrville will be held at St. John Lutheran Church with interment in the Robstown Cemetery. He passed away Wednesday, November 2, 1988 at his residence.

He was an eight year resident of Kerrville and prior residence in Bishop. He was born March 29, 1914 in Walburg. He was a retired Farmer and Carpenter. He was married to Lula Mae Lawson on May 29,1937 in Corpus Christi. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church of Kerrville.

Before moving to Kerrville he was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church in Bishop and was on the Board of Directors, Bishop Brotherhood and taught Sunday school.

Survivors include wife, Lula Mae Mickan of Kerrville; two daughters, Velma Joyce Rice of Corpus Christi and Judy Ann Thomas of Austin; three sons, Robert John Ernest Mickan of Austin; Richard Allen Mickan of Kerrville; Roger Dale Mickan of Sealy; two sisters, Mrs. Odessa Blumberg and Mrs. Opal Lockhart both of Corpus Christi and one brother, Raymond Mickan of Victoria and seven grandsons, four granddaughters; three great grandsons and one great granddaughter.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Grimes Funeral Chapels of Kerrville.
