In the name of God Amen, I, Duncan Murchison Murchison [sic] Senior, being of sound perfect mind and memory do make and publish this my last will and testament revoking all forms wills and codicils---
First, it is my will and desire that all my estate, both real and personal, shall belong to my beloved wife Margrett [sic] during her natural [life] and if either of my daughters which is now single should marry, she has power to advance to either of them in the same proportion that I did myself to my daughters already married.
Secondly, it is my will and desire that at the death of my wife my real estate shall belong to my son Kenneth excepting twenty-five acres to each of my daughters Flora and Nepsy to be laid off for them on the north side of my plantation including a part of the cleared land. If one or both of them should marry, then the one single should be entitled to her twenty-five acres. If both single to the above fifty.
Thirdly, my wife will [sic] is that at the death of my wife, my personal property shall be equally divided between my son Kenneth and my daughters Nepsy and Flora, and if either of my daughters should marry then she is to have no part and the one that remains single she is to have one third part of my personal property, and if both should marry then my son Kenneth is to have the whole, both real and personal.
Fourthly, I give to my son Rodrick my Razor Horn [?] him and my other children rec’d their proportionate part of my estate when they left me. I constitute and appoint my beloved son Kenneth executor to this, my last will and testament, sealed, signed, and delivered before these the 25 May 183
