Green-Wood Cemetery
Section 81, Lots 1826-1827.
[NOTE: Individuals buried here but not memorialized by any currently visible or legible stone or inscription are noted after the inscriptions.]
INSCRIPTIONS
The obelisk is surrounded by 11 footstones, all inscribed with the initials of those resting here, with one exception that is inscribed "Infant," memorializing the infant daughter of James and Marianne Fitch Stranahan. One of these footstones memorializes an individual not memorialized on the obelisk: "C.H.S." (Clara Harrison Stranahan, second wife of James S. T. Stranahan).
