Keith C. "K.C." Liska, age 71, of 1027 Glenview Drive, Manitowoc, died Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center in Manitowoc.

K.C. was born on February 17, 1944 in Manitowoc son of the late George and Lorena (Schneull) Liska. He was a graduate of both Manitowoc Lincoln High School, class of 1962, and of Lakeshore Technical College, graduating as a journeyman painter. He was a lifelong member of First German Ev. Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. On August 12, 1967 he married the former Marilynn B. Pech at Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church. K.C. served his country as a radarman in the U.S. Navy from 1962-1966. He was employed at George Kumbalek Color Center in Two Rivers for 21 years, later becoming a painting contractor for himself in 1987. and retiring in September, 2014. He was the secretary of Local #499 Painters Union and a member of Manitowoc Building and Trades.

K.C. enjoyed watching Packer games, fishing, wood carving, walking his 2 dogs, Tasha and Sasha, doing puzzles, playing cards with his friends and spending time with his grandchildren, especially going on the Zippin Pippin at Bay Beach with his grandson, Justin.

Survivors include his wife of almost 48 years: Marilynn; 2 sons: Michael (Joanna) Liska; Mark (Jessica) Liska;1 daughter: Kristeen Liska, all of Manitowoc; his grandchildren: Justin; Kendall and Michael Liska; 2 step-granddaughters: Stephanie Tingerthal, Santa Fe, TX; Morgan Tingerthal, Manitowoc; 3 sisters and 1 brother-in-law: Cynthia Simono, Waunakee; Margaret (Al) Czekala, Manitowoc; Lora Liska, Mt. Home, AZ; 2 sisters-in-law and 3 brothers-in-law: Susan (Michael) Dingman, Mt. Pleasant; Jeffrey Pech, Elk Grove, CA; Carol (Rollie) Olm, Whitelaw; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents: George and Lorena Liska Sr.; 1 brother: George Liska Jr.; father-in-law and mother-in-law: George and Anita Pech; 1 sister-in-law: Deborah Pech; 2 brothers-in-law: David Walters; Michael Dodge.

A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 5, 2015 at the Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. The Rev. Christopher Hoppe will officiate. Please enter at the Michigan Avenue entrance. Military graveside services will be accorded by the VFW Otto-OAS Post #659 of Manitowoc.The Jens Family Funeral Home & Crematory of Manitowoc is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
