Bernice Norene Clark Dunn, 94, of rural Niota, Illinois died at 3:45 pm Sunday May 31, 2015 at her Sunnybrook Assisted Living apartment in Ft. Madison Iowa.

Bernice was born December 13, 1920 near Pontoosuc IL, daughter of H.R. (Ray) and Nellie Little Clark.

She graduated from Dallas City High School in 1938, and then business college in Ft. Madison, IA. She worked for several years at an insurance agency in Ft. Madison.
On April 15, 1944 she married Wesley J. Dunn, and as a full time homemaker raised three sons. Wesley died in 1996.

She was a long time member of the First Christian Church in Dallas City, and served many years as their financial secretary. She was also a member of Dallas City Senior Citizens.

She is survived by 2 sons, five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren as well as a sister, nieces and nephew.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and son, Clark Dunn.
