Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 29, at Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. Billy Jordan officiating. The family will receive friends from 708 p.m. Wednesday at Gene Roden's Sons Funeral Home. Mr. Dake was born May 3, 1919, in Texas, a son of Charlie W. and Clydie Morton Dake. He married May Suddther in 1956. She died in 1966. He was a retired roofer. Surviving are a son, Caral Dake Sr. of Paris, a stepson, L.W. Suddther of CA; two stepdaughters, Sally Suddther of CA and Gladys Horrie of Odessa; two brothers, Jack Dake of GA and Rolo Dake of Fort Worth; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
