Fannie Goodfellow was the daughter of John and Valetta Goodfellow. She was born around 1813 in Schoharie County, NY, according to that state's 1875 census. She married Lorenzo Dow Mallery and together they had seven children: Pluma Eliza (who married George William Sherman), John H., Culver (called Culpepper), Orrolyn, Aurora, Mary E., and Rhoda. She and her daughter Rhoda lived her last several years with her son John Mallery and wife, Lydia. She died of influenza and heart failure at the age of 79.
