After Catherine died in 1864, Joseph married Harriet PACKER 6 Jul 1865 in Livingston Co., Illinois. They had three sons, Frederick Finley, Woodford P., and Jay B. Harriet died in 1871. Joseph B. married a third time 7 Feb 1875 in Beatrice, Gage Co., Nebraska to Gertrude M. McKINZIE. They had two children: Cora Gertrude and Clyde Cavour.
