Charles Dennis Bussey, 67, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2015. He was born January 30, 1948, to Charles Pickens Bussey, Jr., and Gena Margaret Bussey. A loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather, Dennis was an owner and operator of Bussey's Service Station. He was a member of East Main Baptist Church. He was dearly loved and will be missed by his family, friends and customers. Dennis loved to work on cars, race cars, fish, playing farkle with friends and spending time with his grandbabies. Dennis was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Linda Telano Bussey; his parents; one brother, David Bussey; and one nephew, Steven Bussey. He is survived by his son, Chuck Bussey; his daughter, Vicky Bussey Cooper; brother, Darryl Bussey; grandchildren, Kirstin Bussey, Madison Bussey, Sophie Lowery, Jake Cooper and Brayden Bussey; as well as numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday, April 26, 2015, at Perry's Funeral Chapels. Funeral services will be Monday, April 27, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Perry's Funeral Chapels with Bro. Bob Inman officiating with burial to follow at Old Parkers Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels. Pallbearers will be Dwayne Pyron, Benny Bussey, Herb Bussey, Jonathon Bussey, Nick Bussey, Donald Pyron and Frank Templeton. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jackie Hicks, John Pickering, Mike Bussey, Willie Telano, Bobby Duncan, Charles White, Kenneth Boyer, Michael Ingram and Kevin Black. Family and friends will be at 430 S.W. Avenue.
