Mr. Algeo and son were killed Monday evening by lightning at Lake Snowden. While fishing, apparently when a storm came up, they took refuge under a tree. They were found by friends searching. Jack Algeo was a graduate of Athens High School, Ohio University, member Athens Country Club, partner Alpor Kustom Kitchen, former Golf Pro, won club championship in 1967-68, member Athens team at Southwestern Ohio Golf Assoc.
