Juanita was born on September 6, 1927 to J. Henry and Ethel E. (Benge) Williams, in Leedey, Oklahoma.

She left this earthly home with her loving son by her side on June 3, 2015 at the age of 87 years, 8 months and 28 days.

Juanita was raised by her mother and loving step-father Gene Bowman.

She attended grammar school in Leedey, OK; middle school in Elk City, OK, and high school in Pryor, OK. She furthered her education, taking business classes at OSU in Stillwater, OK.

She married Bob Chambers, Sr., on April 5, 1942 in Noel, MO. Son Jr. was born to this union in October of 1944. They adopted a daughter in 1959.

Juanita worked at American Bank as accounting clerk, for Drs. Bynum and Pinkerton as office manager and OOWA as comptroller and as assistant to the administrator. She retired from OOWA on May 31, 1983.

Juanita was an avid reader and excellent bridge player. She had a passion for volunteer service and worked a number of years doing various things. She worked at Bradenton, FL Hospital for 16 years; Bradenton Meals On Wheels for 16 years; Pryor Meals On Wheels for 10 years; Pryor Hospital for 16 years, Pryor Ministries for one year, and sponsored C.A.R.D. Bridge Club for 10 years.

For the past several years, she has knitted beautiful lap robes throughout the year and donated them at Christmas time to nursing homes, Meals on Wheels recipients, and Hospice patients, or the veteran center.

Juanita has always displayed a strong faith in God and has been a member of Pryor First United Methodist Church from 1995 to present time.

She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father, husband, brother Alton Williams and sister-in-law Maxine Williams.

Juanita is survived by her son, Jr. and wife of Pryor; daughter and husband of Tulsa;

grandchildren of Tulsa, of Hydra, Greece, of Owasso, and of Eufaula also survive.

9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great granddaughters and many other dear friends. She will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Pryor Ministry Center at 15 SW 3rd, Pryor 74361.
