Viola L. Angell, 83, of 432 S. Washington St., Gettysburg, died Friday afternoon, Jan. 4, 1991, at The Gettysburg Hospital.

Born in Adams County, she was the daughter of the late John and Rosie Plank Koontz. She was the wife of Robert F. Angell who died in 1985.

Mrs. Angell was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, and had been employed at Victor Products in Gettysburg for several years.

Surviving are two daughters, Betty J. Myers of Lakeland, Fla. and Audrey Y. Rippon of Hedgesville, W.Va.; three sons, Richard F. Angell and Larry R. Angell, both of Gettysburg and Harold I. Angell of Dallas-town; six sisters, Ethel B. Helwig, Hilda Spence, Lorene Helwig and Anna Belle Mickley, all of Gettysburg, Loretta Keefer of Fayetteville and Genevieve Yingling of Westminster, Md.; one brother, Romaine Breighner of Littlestown; nine grand-children and three greatgrandchildren.

The funeral service will be held 1 1 a.m. Wednesday at the Monahan Funeral Home in Gettysburg with the Rev. E. Edward Keyser officiating.
