MARSHALL -- Services for Anna Kristine Wilson, 91, of Marshall will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hope Lutheran Church in Minneota. Burial will be in the Marshall Cemetery. Visitation at the Hamilton-Birk Funeral Home n Marshall will be all day today with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.
Mrs. Wilson died Monday at Weiner Memorial Hospital in Marshall.
She was born Feb. 12, 1896, to Soren and Elisabeth (Mathiesen) Balle in Peterson, Iowa. She moved to Minnesota with her family in 1904. She was baptized in the Lutheran faith in Iowa and was confirmed at Hope Lutheran Church in 1911. She attended District 45 schools in Island Lake Township of Lyon County. She married Arthur Wilson on Oct. 24, 1915, in Minneapolis. They farmed in Island Lake Township until retiring and moving to Marshall in 1965. She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church.
Survivors include three sisters, Marie McDaniel of Marshall, and Martha Sande and Helen Kompelien, both of Minneota; and three brothers, William of Milwaukee, Peter of St. Peter and Leo of Marshall.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother.
