William W. Wolfe, aged 81, died at 5 o’clock Friday afternoon in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Robert Barnhart of Parkers Landing R. D., after a lingering illness. Mr. Wolfe was a coal miner by occupation, and had been employed in the mines most of his life. Surviving are two sons, Glenn and Clarence Wolfe of West Sunbury; two daughters, Mrs. Robert Barnhart of Parkers Landing R. D. and Mrs. Bertha Crissman of Apollo. Friends will be received at the J. W. Knox Funeral home, Bruin. Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon from the funeral home, with the Rev. Carl Perrin, pastor of the Allegheny Presbyterian church, officiating. Burial will be in the Tidal cemetery.

William W. Wolfe, aged 81 years 5 months 17 days of Rural, Butler County, Pennsylvania, , died on Friday, July 1, 1949 at 5 p.m. at Allegheny Township, Butler County, Pennsylvania. Mr. Wolfe, a coal miner by trade was born on January 14, 1868 in Armstrong County, Pennsylvnia, the son of Alphus and Jane (Wyant) Wolfe. Funeral arrangements were in the care of J. W. Knox of Bruin, Pa. Interment was made on Tuesday, July 5, 1949 in the Tidal Cemetery, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania. Informant was Mrs. Bert Barnhart of Parkers Landing, Pennsylvania.
