BANTZ--The remains of Joseph Bantz were brought here from Dallas, Texas, Sunday, and taken to the home of his brother George W. Bantz from which place the funeral procession moved to the Vernon Cemetery, where a short service took place and the remains were interred.

VERNON.--Joseph Bantz, died at Dallas, Texas on Thursday, Jan. 25th. The body arrived here on Sunday and was laid to rest in the family lot at the Vernon Cemetery. Mr. Bantz was the son of Fred K. and Caroline Bullock Bantz, pioneer citizens of Vernon. Mr. George K.
