Khyrstin Monet Andrews better known as Kyssi was the precious daughter of Antonio and Marla Jones. She was diagnosed on May 1, 2012 with Stage IV Wilms Tumor, a form of kidney cancer. Kyssi and her family fought a three year battle. During that three year battle, Kyssi became a Social Media sweetheart that inspired many people from all walks of life. Despite her aggressive treatmens and pain, Kyssi remained strong. She kept an award winning smile through all of it. During her short time on earth, Kyssi never gave up, nor did her family. Her fight inspired others to remain strong no matter what they were going through. Hence, the hashtag #kyssistrong was a way others who used it summed up their feelings during a time of suffering on any level. Kyssi's inspiring journey through her short time on earth can be read on the internet by googling her name. Her story which was shared in her funeral program is posted in this Memorial with some of her many photos. Wishing all who are going through pain to remain #kyssistrong . Funeral services were held on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 11:00 a.m with Visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Both services were held at Greater Grace Outreach Church, 10800 Scott Street, Houston, Texas. Interment in Houston Memorial Gardens. All Peoples Funeral Home, Houston, Texas assisted the family.Seven year old Kyssi passed away after a long 3 year battle with cancer.

In October 2014 the DPS and the Houston Police Department fulfilled Kyssi's wish, making her an honorary trooper and a police officer.

She was hoping to grow up and become a state trooper.
