Mrs. A. Gauthier, widow of the late Adolph Gauthier, died last Friday
morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Allie. The cause of her
death was a stroke of paralysis, the third she had sustained in the past
few years. The last stroke left her speechless and helpless and in this
condition she lingered for about 14 days. She was 65 years of age and
was born in St. Francis, Canada. Her maiden name was Sanville and three
brothers survive her. The funeral took place from St. Luke's church on
Saturday.
