"Margaret Herman, 85, passed away Friday at Bonnie Blue Jacket Nursing Home in Basin, WY. Margaret was born in Worland, WY, the daughter of Bert and Bonnie (Douglas) Agee. She was raised in the Worland area and attended school there. She married Carl Herman on January 24, 1937. Following her marriage, Margaret and Carl farmed at Worland. They moved to the ranch in Meeteetse in March of 1947 where they lived until 1980 when Carl passed away. Following his death, Margaret moved to Cody. Margaret enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed cooking and flowers and going to yard sales. She especially loved holidays and decorating her home for each change of season and holiday. Margaret always had a meal for anyone who stopped and guests especially enjoyed her desserts. She was active in 4-H and Bible School and taught Sunday School at Meeteetse Baptist Church. She was a member of Meeteetse Community Club and a past member of the Worland Rebekah Lodge. Her survivors include her children, Donald Herman of Trinidad, CO, Richard and Linda "Abby" Herman of Meeteetse, WY, Carlton and Anna Herman of Cody, WY and James Herman also of Cody; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Douglas and Linda Agee of Fort Collins, CO, Robert Agee of Worland, WY, Clifford and Jean Agee also of Worland, and Calvin Agee of Buena Park, CA, Her sister and brother-in-law, Geneva and Hewitt Jamieson of Powell, WY; seven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren, and two great, great grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her parents; her husband, Carl; a daughter Pat Posey; a daughter-in-law, Pat Herman; and a brother, Quinton Agee, a grandchild and a great grandchild. Visitations for Margaret Herman will be on Thursday evening, June 29, 2006 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Ballard Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am, Friday, June 30, 2006 at Cody United Methodist Church with Rev. Mary Barbee officiating. Interment will follow in Meeteetse Cemetery.
