Pat was born on September 16, 1925, in Lake City, MN to Leon and Elizabeth Green and raised by Harvey and Lou Lange. She married William Barker in 1946 until his passing in 1977. She then got re-married to Irving Bartels in 1981 and he also preceded her in death in1995.
Pat worked at Preway, Western Union, Rumple Insurance and Tri-County Area Schools until her retirement in 1992.
Pat loved reading, traveling, family time, gardening, playing cards, and leading local 4-H clubs. She was an active member of The Plainfield Grange, Eastern Star, Bridge Club and the United Methodist Church in Plainfield.
She is survived by her son, Robert (Joan) Barker of Plainfield WI; 6 grandsons, Michael (Beth) Barker of Plainfield WI; Edward (Jamie) Barker of Wisconsin Rapids WI; Daniel (Brooke) Barker of Plainfield WI; William (Jackie) Barker of Streamwood IL; Robby Barker of Plover WI; and Philip Barker of Stevens Point WI; along with 6 great-grandchildren, Hayden, Gavin, Evan, Caleb, Zachary and Abigail. Pat is also survived by 4 stepchildren, Robert (Hilda) Bartels of Apache Junction AZ; Harold (Diane) Bartels of Berlin WI; Dorothy (Ken) Poppy of Mesa AZ; Diane Bartels of Wild Rose WI.
Along with her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents, along with 5 brothers, Bob, Don, Bill, Chuck, Roger and 2 sisters, Jean and Vivian.
