April Marie Stefanko, 17, of Hedgesville, WV,
died Tuesday,September 6, 2005 as the result
of an automobile accident.
Born March 29, 1988 in Berkeley County, WV,
she is the daughter of William Robert Stefanko
and Christine Yost Stefanko of Hedgesville.
She was a senior at Hedgesville High School
where she was a member of the Hedgesville
High Swim Team, involved with the school
choir and a member of the ROTC for three
years. She was currently enrolled in the
nursing program at James Rumsey. During
her younger years she was a member of the
Girl Scouts and Missionettes.
She was employed with the Woods Resort.
April was a member of the Miracle Center
Church in Morgan County.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by
a brother,Joshua William Stefanko and a sister,
Candie Lynn Stefanko;Grandparents, Paul and
Peggy Yost and William and Rose Stefanko
all of Hedgesville and several aunts,
uncles and cousins.
