Old Citizen Dead
Grandma Price, mother of Mr. Monte Price, of the Territory, died yesterday evening at her home near Watsons gin west of the river. The remains will be interred in the cemetery at Floyds Chapel this evening at 4 o'clock. Mrs. Price was 87 years of age and her death was due to her extreme age. She was one of the oldest citizens of the county and her life was spent in the neighborhood in which she died. She was generally known west of the river as Grandma Price and loved and esteemed for goodness and kindness in her daily work. A host of friends will sympathize with the relatives in the sorrow.
