William Nehrlich, for many years a resident of the city, died Sunday at his home in Haven at the age of 80 years. He is survived by two children.

The deceased was for 20 years director of the Concordia Singing Society, and was well remembered by the older people of the city. He was the director of the Concordia Singing Society from 1867 to 1887 when he bought a farm near Haven where he has since lived. His brother, the late Emil Nehrlich, was formerly treasurer of the county. A delegation of the Concordia Singing society will attend the funeral.

WILLIAM NEHRLICH BURIED
The funeral of the late William Nehrlich was held yesterday afternoon at 4 o’clock, Rev. Krueger of the St. John’s Evangelical church officiating.
Owing to the heavy snow drifts and impassible roads the delegation from the Concordia Staging Society was unable to attend, but sent a large floral offering.
