WILLIAM STOLTENBERG (d. 1925)

CENTERVILLE PIONEER IS CALLED TO REST
William Stoltenberg, pioneer resident of Centerville, is dead at the age of 69 years, his demise which occurred Tuesday being due to heart trouble from which he had suffered for some time. Funeral services
will be held Friday afternoon at 1 from the home at Centerville to St. John’s and St. Peter’s church and burial will be at the Centerville cemetery.

Mr. Stoltenberg was born in the town of Centerville on March 31, 1856, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Stoltenberg. He was married on December 20, 1891, to Sophie Whipperman, who with three daughters, Mrs. Hilda Goeke, of the town of Centerville, the Misses Lily and Alice, at home, and three
sons, Hugo, Victor and Louis, at home, survive. One sister, Mrs. Wehrwein, of the town of Centerville, and one brother, Adolph Stoltenberg, of Cleveland, also survive. A son, Hubert, preceded his father in death.
