Mrs. Otto Bruckschen, 83, of Rt. 1, Manitowoc, died Saturday at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m . Thursday at Salem Ebenezer Reformed Church, Newton. The Rev. Norman Hoflinger will officiate and burial will be in the church
cemetery.
Mrs. Bruckschen, nee Mathilda Stock, was born July 30, 1886, in Town of Centerville, daughter of the late Conrad and Sophie Stockmier (sic, should be Stockmeier) Stock.
She attended school in the Town of Centerville. She was married to Otto Bruckschen Dec. 29, 1910, in Town of Centerville. After their marriage, they moved to Harbine,
Neb., where they farmed for 13 years, returning to Wisconsin in 1924 and living on her homestead farm. They farmed there until retiring in 1943, then moving to Clover.
Mrs. Bruckschen was a member of Salem Ebenezer United Church and an honorary member of the Ladies Aid.
Survivors include her husband; a son, two daughters, three brothers, a sister; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Two sisters and a
brother preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 3 p.m. Wednesday until noon Thursday and then at church until the time of services.
