JOHN ROSSO (d. 1958)

John Rosso, 84, of Newton died at his home Friday night. He had been in ill
health several months.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Salem Ebenezer and Reformed Church,
Newton, with the Rev. K. J. Stuebbe officiating and with burial in the church
cemetery.
Born July 21, 1874, in the town of Newton, Mr. Rosso was the son of the late
John and Dorothea Glaff Rosso. He married Marie Rambadt Jan. 3, 1898. A carpenter
by trade in his early years, Mr. Rosso later served as lineman for Newton-
Manitowoc Telephone Co. Mrs. Rosso died March 1, 1947.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Gustav Stock of Rt. 3, Manitowoc, Mrs. Harold
Snitker of Ohlman, Ill., Mrs. George Wenndorf of Manitowoc and Mrs. Charles
McCurdy of Newton, eight grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. A daughter,
three sisters and a brother preceded him in death.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and after
10 a.m. Monday at the church.

John Rosso, 84, of Newton died at his home Friday night. He had been in ill
