Lillian Inez Murphree Duke, 89, of Memphis, TN, went to be with the Lord, on June 8, 2015, after several years battling with Alzheimer's. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Duke, Jr., her 2 daughters, Nancy (Doug) Robinson, and Barbara (Steve) Caldwell. Lillian is survived by her sister Lottie Brannan, of Mesquite, TX, and her brother, Elton Maurelle Murphee, of Chapman, KS, her 2 daughters, Helen (David) Greene, Paula Holcomb, 14 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren. Lillian retired as a administrative assistant from Motorola Communications of Memphis, and was a longtime member of Berclair Baptist Church. Visitation will be held at High Point Funeral Home, 3788 Summer Ave., Memphis, TN, on Friday, June 12, 2015, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., with services immediately following. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests for donations to be made to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org. Arrangements have been trusted to High Point Funeral Home (Published in The Commercial Appeal, Memphis, TN, on June 10, 2015)
