George D. Archer of Byron, former Pine Island resident, died of pneumonia today in the Colonial hospital. He was 46 years old.
Born in Watertown, S.D., June 2, 1898, he married Ruth E. Aney in Wyoming, Minn., January 16, 1921. He came here from Pine Island 12 years ago.
Survivors are his wife, six children, Miss Jean, Mrs. Helen Fairbanks, Milan, Madonna and Marlys, all of Byron, and George Elden, the navy, two grandchildren and three brothers and a sister, Oscar, Glen, Arland and Mrs. Ada Kundert, all of Pine Island.
Funeral arrangements, under direction of Earl A. Vine & Sons, will be announced later.
