GWENDOLYN MAXINE (HUMBLE) McDONALD
Gwendolyn, known as Maxine, was the daughter of Jessie May (Leek) and Willis Orton "Bill" Humble. She was born in 1915.

On March 15, 1936 she married Milton C. McDonald in Davenport, Scott County, Iowa. To this union was born ten chilcren; Virginia, Marilyn, Kathleen, Mick, Jim, Carol, Alice, Jody and Peggy as well as a daughter; Cheryl Louise who died in infancy.

Maxine grew up in Wapello County, Iowa. After their marriage, Maxine and Milton lived for a short time Davenport, Iowa before relocating to New Boston, Illinois.

I'm not sure if she died at home or in the hospital but Maxine passed away in 1965 at the young age of 50, leaving behind her husband and several young children who were raised by relatives after her death. Milton followed her in death on July 8, 1968. Both are buried in New Boston Cemetery.
