Ralph R. "Dick" Hubbartt, age 83, of 5307 County Trunk U, Newton, died Sunday, evening, June 7, 2015 at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center, Manitowoc.

Ralph was born on May 27, 1932 in Kandiyohi, MN, son of the late Ralph S. And Doloris (Foley) Hubbartt. He was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School with the class of 1951. Ralph was drafted in the fall of 1951 into the United States Army with the 7th Infantry serving during the Korean Conflict in Pyongyang, Korea. He was honorably discharged in 1954. On April 7, 1956 he married the former Arlene Glomski at St. Casimirs Catholic Church in Northeim and the couple just celebrated their 59th anniversary. Ralph worked for many years in Sheboygan for Reliance Construction and later for Payne & Dolan in Saukville where he retired in 1994.

He was a member of the Operating Engineers Local #139 for over fifty years.Survivors include his wife: Arlene Hubbartt, Newton; his children, their spouses and their children: Gail Ochs, Cedar Lake, WI. and her children: Autumn and Alexa Paula, Vickie and Francis Lutz, Tarpon Springs, FL, and their son: Aaron, Richard and Amy Hubbartt, Newton, and their children: Anna (and fiancé Travis), Abigail, Olivia Arlene and Andrew, Brenda and Jerry Morreau, Newton, and their children Amber and Cpl. Austin Morreau, U.S. Army; ten brothers and seven sisters-in-law: Delbert and Susan Hubbartt, Knife River, MN, Ralph S. "Bunny" Danielson, Whitelaw, Ray and Nancy Hubbartt, Manitowoc, Terrry and Barbara Hubbartt, Manitowoc, Paul Hubbartt, Green Bay, Dale and Debbie Hubbartt, Kiel, Dennis and Kathy Hubbartt, Kiel, Todd and Dawn Hubbartt, Manitowoc, Brian Hubbartt, Manitowoc, Brett and Lesa Hubbartt, Manitowoc; five sisters and two brothers-in-law: Joan Glaeser, Manitowoc, Frances "Tootie" and Jack Lundgren, Hermantown, MN, Audrey and Gary Mahloch, Manitowoc, Roxanne Sieracki, Las Vegas, NV, Gloria Easton, Manitowoc; and one sister-in-law: Ruthie Hubbartt Wedemann, FL. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.

He was also preceded in death by a son-in-law: Paul Ochs; one sister: Norma Wood; three brothers: Ronald, William and Derek Hubbartt; his father-in-law and mother-in-law: John and Cecelia Glomski; many brothers-in-law and their spouses and sisters-in-law and their spouses; and Burnell Hubbartt and Albin Peterson.Cremation has taken place at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc, and a private family memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, 928 S. 14th Street, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. David Beaudry with burial of Ralph's cremated remains to take place at St. Casimir Cemetery
