Crystal Ann Blessing, our beautiful daughter, sister, and granddaughter, a shining light of inspiration to all who know her, she made her transition to the loving arms of her Heavenly Father on June 23, 2006, where her new life begins. We were blessed with Crystal who was born on Thanksgiving Day, November 24, 1987 in Fort Polk, LA. The family was serving in the Army, for the freedom of our country and Crystal then had the opportunity of living in many different places. We went to Bamburg, Germany for 3 years, and back to the USA and Lawton, OK. This is where Crystal began her journey in her education, and she surpassed all our expectations. Later we moved to Paisley, FL, Winter Park, FL, Duluth, GA and then in 2002 the family moved to Independence, MO where Crystal began her journey with William Chrisman High School. Everywhere she lived, she inspired the lives of her family and friends. While living in Florida, Crystal was baptized and confirmed into the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints the 19th of September 1996. She was baptized by her father, Randal a Priest, and confirmed by her Grandfather, Jonnie Dwayne Blessing, Elder, and her Pastor at the time, Elder Frederick W. W. Finger, Sr.

Crystal was a very gifted young lady. She played the Oboe, wrote poetry, short stories, and loved acting. Sewing, Scrap Booking, and shopping became her leisure passions. She was an avid reader and used her Library card constantly. She volunteered her time to the City of Independence Fire Department, engine "76" restoration Fund, and also tutored grade school children. From grade school thru High School she was a straight A student. She recently graduated from William Chrisman High School with Honors. A member of Who's Who among American High School students, a member of the National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, Missouri College Preparatory Studies Certificate, and President's Award of Educational Excellence. She was offered Scholarships to Stevens College in Columbia, MO, William Jewel, Colorado Christian College, and Avila University. She chose to use her A+ to pay for her education and career goal to become a para-legal from Penn Valley and continuing education from Avila.

Crystal Ann Blessing is the daughter of Randal L. Blessing and (An) Yong Suk Blessing. She is the sister to Jessica M. Blessing, and granddaughter to Johnnie Dwayne and Mary A. Blessing.
