CHARLES C. RUSH, SR., age 78, of 1706 Windsor Avenue SW, died Monday at a Roanoke convalescent home. He was a member of Our Lady Of Nazareth Catholic Church and was a retired lino-type operator for the Times-World Corp.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Murrell Rice Rush; a son, Charles C. Rush, Jr., Columbia, South Carolina; two grandchildren, Ensign Richard C. Rush, Norfolk and Susan C. Rush, Richmond.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday from Our Lady Of Nazareth Catholic Church with the Rev. Dennis P. Murphy and Dr. Charles G. Fuller officiating. Interment will be in Fair View Cemetery. A Christian Wake Prayer Service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel. Friends may call a Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
