He was a member of Congregational United Church of christ and the Masonic Lodge #76. He was a retired inspector for the Exposiac Co. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Grover and Dala Pilson Bray; on sister, Wilma Sheffield; and one brother, Chester Bray.
Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Mrs. Ione Mason Bray of the home; a sister, Rena B. Smith and a brother, T. Reginald Bray, both of Thomasville; nephews, Terry and John Bray; and nieces, Judy Beck and Nancy Bodenheimer.
A graveside service will be 3 p.m. Friday at Guilford Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be at the residence.
