Michele was born in Rome, September 17, 1976, daughter of Gary Graves and Lee Richardson Graves. In 1995, she graduated from Rome High School, where she was a cheerleader, a member of the National Honor Society as well as being on the Homecoming Court. Michele attended Georgia Tech for two years, then Kennesaw State University, graduating with a BS in Secondary Math in 2001. She taught one year at North Forsyth Middle School and two years at Coosa High School and also served as cheerleading coach. She was a member of PAGE. Michele and her husband, Jeremy Buxton, who were married July 3, 2004, are members of Hebron Baptist Church, Dacula, GA and the Newlyweds Sunday School Class. Michele and Jeremy had a beautiful marriage. She left teaching to work with Jeremy in his business from their home.
Surviving in addition to her husband and her parents are two brothers and their spouses, Gary Jr. and Jill Graves, Cartersville and Tim and Becky Graves, Cartersville; three nieces and one nephew, Meridith and Shaylee Graves and Nya Buxton and Trey Graves; mother-in-law and father-in-law, David and Nancy Buxton; Townville, SC; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Gwen and Graham Thompson, Greenville, SC and Tammy Buxton, Townville, SC; grandparents, Milton and Ozella Graves and Bill and Louise Richardson, Rome; great grandparents, Rev.
