She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on April 27, 1919, to James Phillip Brown and Minnie Lee Brown.
Mrs. Abbott was the owner of Windsor Package Store in Corpus Christi and worked for Central Power and Light Co. for 10 years. She was a member of the Golden Kilowatt Club.
Mrs. Abbott moved to Harlingen in 1984 and was a member of St. Alban’s Episcopal Church. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Thomas Patrick Abbott.
Funeral services will be held at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home, 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 8, 2005 with the Rev. Judy Sessions officiating. Entombment will be in Seaside Memorial Park in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Alban’s Episcopal Church Building Fund in Harlingen, Texas.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home.
