Services for Adam W. Moudy, 70, formerly of Caldwell and Boise, who died Monday, Oct. 31, in Scottsdale, Ariz., will be held Friday, Nov. 4, at 2 p.m. at Relyea Funeral Chapel, Boise.
Burial will follow at the Canyon Hill Cemetery in Caldwell.
He was born Jan. 27, 1913, in Vale, Ore., and was a member of a Boise pioneer family. He was educated in Caldwell and was a member of the National Guard in Caldwell. He married Dorothy Newell in 1935 in Caldwell. He was a member of the Electrical Workers Union 291 and was business manager and president of that union. He was the State of Idaho Electrical Inspector for 10 years, retiring in 1979. He was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church of Boise and had lived in Boise for 45 years.
He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Marilyn Zenk of Cave Creek, Ariz., and Mrs. Jeannette Karinek of Seward, Alaska; a sister, Mrs. Betty Shaman of Boise; a brother, Ernest Moudy of McCall; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Nadine, and two sisters.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until service time Friday.
