SUMMERFIELD — Cleo "Gene" Eugene Chism, 93, died Monday, Feb. 22, 2010.
Mr. Chism owned Chism Steel Fabrication in California for more than 30 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II; member of the Windermere Rotary Club; loved to play golf; and received a plaque in 2007 for a hole-in-one.
Survivors include his wife, Freda; daughter, Judy Johnston, California; sisters Sarah McNeil and Wynelle Chism, both of Oklahoma; and one grandson.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 5, at the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Lady Lake. Online condolences may be left at pagetheusfuneralhome.com.
