JACKSONVILLE - Services for Buel Edward "Eddie" Grimes, 32, Rusk, were held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Thompson Funeral Home, Jacksonville.

Burial was in Larissa Cemetery, Mount Selman.

Mr. Grimes died June 25, 2006, in Cherokee County.

He was born Dec. 19, 1973, in Jacksonville and was a diesel mechanic for B&B Trucking and a Baptist.

Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Grimes, Rusk; sons, Dakota Grimes, Rosharon, and Tristan Kennedy, Rusk; daughters, Mercedes Kennedy and Catlynn Kennedy, both of Rusk; parents, Carolyn and Jerry Burns, Jacksonville, Bobby and Patsy Grimes, Gallatin; brothers, Dennis Grimes, Troup, Kelly Burns, Whitehouse, Seann Burns, Jacksonville, and Christopher Goleman, Gallatin; sisters, Tenny Jordan and Jennifer Grimes, both of Jacksonville, Wendy Rutledge, Marlin, Sandy Wilkerson, St. Louis, Mo., and Angela Jackson, Bullard; grandparents, Marie Boggs, Jacksonville, and Clinton Waller, Diboll; nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Aram George, Troy Boggs, Stacy King, Micky King, Craig Adams, Chris Holman, Scott Lowery, Jay Shields, Larry Grimes, Chris Haley, Curtis Boggs II, Doug Grimes, Ronny Grimes and Johnny Grimes. Honorary pallbearers were Billy Grimes and All A.A. and N.A. members.
