Rosella L. Benedetto, 67, of Caldwell, died Monday, Nov. 17, 2008, in Caldwell. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday , Nov. 20, at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Interment will follow at Canyon Hill Cemetery, Caldwell.
Rosie was born Oct. 19, 1941, in Laramie, Wyo., a daughter of Paul F. and Robina LaMar Evans. She was reared and educated in LaPorte, Colo., and later lived in Cheyenne, Wyo. She was married to Larry Hout until they divorced. In 1963, she married Nickolas Benedetto and he died in 2000.
Rosie operated a day care in Nampa from 1983 until 2000. She also did cosmetology at a Caldwell care center and later graduated from cos metology school. Her dogs were the love of her life and she spent many hours working for Pet Haven causes. Rosie was also active in the Seventh-day Adventist Church of Nampa.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law , Larry and Theresia Hout II of Caldwell; her sister and brother-in-law , Cynthia and Jim Jaderquist of Aliso Viejo, CA; three grandchildren, Kristopher and Rachel Hout, Krystin and Jarimie Milliron and Kordeiro Hout; and four great-grandchildren .
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Pet Haven are suggested .
Friends may call Wednesday from 4 until 8 p.m. at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
