She rented rooms at her home at 11 Cleveland Ave in Lily Dale, she led discussion groups on topics such as the nature of democracy, proper diet, history etc. She wrote a poem for an anniversary celebration . She traveled regularly to Rochester NY as an expert in flavoring extracts. all of this in 1906, when women were considered to frail and inferior to vote.

Her funeral was held on January 29th, 1931 at her residence in Lily Dale, with burial in the Cassadaga Cemetery.
