Amanda Eva Costner Stalsworth, 89, of Rutledge, passed on to her heavenly home on Monday, June 18, 2018. She was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church and a devoted loving and caring mother, grandmother, and friend.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald "Pete" Stalsworth; son, Charles "Oscar" Stalsworth; grandson, Joshua Trevor McDaniel; parents, O.A. "Shorty" and Sallie Costner, and a host of family and friends.
She will be remembered lovingly by her family, son and wife, David and Joan Stalsworth; daughter and husband, Venita "Diane" and Randy Whittington; grandchildren, Randall and Kim Stalsworth, Dearl and Janie Stalsworth; great-grandchildren, Tristan and Christian, Logan and Kara, Devin, Haleigh and Landon; brother, Earl Costner of San Jose, CA; several nieces and nephews, special friends, Linda Kay Watson and Norma Tate; and her fury friends, Suzy and Blondie.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the caregivers at Life Care Center of Jefferson City and Dr. Lance Patton and his staff.

Funeral service 7:00 PM Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Fielden Chapel with Rev. Mike Lee officiating. Interment 10:00 AM Friday in Jefferson Memorial Garden. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00-7:00 PM prior to the service at Fielden Funeral Home in New Market.
